Marquis was the pick bitch from our "Gamblers" (Marker/Naomi) litter, and landed the best home with our friend, Anne. Together, these two have taken on every dog sport imaginable, with unmatched enthusiasm and belly-laughing fun. Marquis is the consummate clown, always there for a laugh, and she has never met a stranger. Anne wanted a "competitive performance dog" when she approached me for her second Rhapsody puppy, and I'm pretty sure Marquis delivered and then some.. We of course made sure she had all of her mother's naughtiness sprinkled in for good measure as well!

As a show dog, she embodies the best qualities of her parents - she's curvy, balanced, smooth, moderate, and classic vizsla. She continues to get better with age, and in limited showing has accumulated some impressive wins on the way to her championship; her show debut at the 2021 VCA National where she WON the 6-9 month class of 22 puppies, WB/BW at the MVVC Specialty for a 5 point major, finishing her championship with three majors, Best of Breed from the classes, and a 5 point WB/BW/BOS over specials!

Marquis is truly a do it all Vizsla, so when I got the opportunity to get her on birds to see what she thought, I wasn't surprised when she gave it her all and turned on the intensity! She has a great nose, a beautiful soft retrieve, and very much enjoyed her puppy intro! We'll continue to have fun in the field when I get to steal her from her numerous other extracurricular activities!
